Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive discovery, architecture, and design across complex business and technology initiatives. You will collaborate with engineering, data, cloud, and security teams to define scalable, secure solution approaches and ensure alignment with business goals.

This is a high-impact, individual-contributor role for shaping architecture and delivering practical technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and delivering enterprise-scale software solutions.
• Experience leading architecture and solution design across applications, cloud, integrations, data, and security.
• Strong background in requirements discovery, solution architecture, design, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience evaluating technical options, documenting approaches, and guiding architecture decisions through implementation.
• Expertise with cloud platforms, APIs, system integration, scalability, security, and modern architectures.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and governance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and current-state assessments with business and technology stakeholders to understand systems and requirements.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient architectures across applications, integrations, cloud, data, and emerging tech.
• Partner with engineering, cloud, security, and data teams to align solutions with principles and operations.
• Develop implementation-ready solution architectures, designs, and integrations for strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate architecture reviews and guide on tradeoffs, risks, and maintainability.
• Support modernization efforts to reduce technical debt and improve performance and reliability.
• Evaluate technologies and third-party platforms to support business objectives.
• Contribute to architecture standards and reference patterns across solutions.
• Translate strategic goals into practical technology solutions with business leaders.
