Lithia & Driveway is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive discovery, architecture, and solution design across business and technology initiatives. You will collaborate with engineering, data, cloud, security, and business teams to define scalable solutions and ensure investments align with objectives.

This high-impact, individual contributor role thrives in complex environments, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on design, and guiding teams to modern, resilient architectures

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and delivering enterprise-scale software solutions, distributed systems, and cloud-native apps.
• Experience leading architecture and solution design across applications, cloud, integrations, data, and security.
• Strong background in requirements discovery, solution architecture, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience evaluating technical options and guiding architecture through implementation.
• Expertise with cloud platforms, APIs, system integration, scalability, security, and modern architectures.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and governance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and current-state assessments with business and tech stakeholders to understand systems and requirements.
• Design scalable, secure architectures across applications, integrations, cloud, data, and emerging tech.
• Partner with engineering, cloud, security, and data teams to ensure alignment with architectural principles.
• Develop implementation-ready solution architectures and technical designs for strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate architecture reviews and guide on tradeoffs, risks, scalability, maintainability.
• Support modernization, reduce technical debt, and improve platform performance and reliability.
• Evaluate technologies and third-party platforms to support business goals.
• Contribute to architecture standards and reference patterns for consistency.
• Collaborate with leaders to translate strategic goals into practical tech solutions.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor throughout planning, design, and delivery.
