Lithia & Driveway is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive discovery, architecture, and solution design. You’ll work across engineering, data, cloud, security, and business teams to align technology investments with business goals.

This remote role requires 10+ years in enterprise software and architecture leadership, with strong cross-functional collaboration and strategic thinking. Some travel is required to align with initiatives across store locations and partners.

Qualifications

• Enterprise-scale software design and distributed systems experience.
• Leadership in architecture and solution design across domains (apps, cloud, data, security).
• Ability to translate business goals into technical solutions and engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and current-state assessments with stakeholders.
• Design scalable, secure architectures across apps, cloud, data, and integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and data teams to align solutions.
• Create implementation-ready designs and integration approaches.
• Facilitate architecture reviews and advise on tradeoffs and maintainability.
• Support modernization and reduce technical debt for performance.
• Evaluate technologies and vendor solutions to meet business needs.
• Contribute to architecture standards and reference patterns.
• Translate strategic goals into practical technology solutions.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor throughout projects.
