Job summary

Andromeda Cluster is hiring a Solutions Architect to own the technical side of large customer engagements, from evaluation to production. You will design architectures for GPUs, run POCs, and land the production training run, staying the technical owner as the account grows.

You'll build demo environments, benchmarking harnesses, and reference architectures while partnering with Sales and Product to shape the platform for frontier labs and enterprises.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles, incl. 2+ years in pre-sales.
• Direct experience selling or supporting GPU compute at a neocloud or GPU provider.
• Fluency in large-scale training and inference: distributed training and multi-node topologies.
• Comfort with Kubernetes and SLURM as scheduling environments.
• Enough Python to build benchmarks, prototypes, or API integrations.
• Experience owning technical evaluations in complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
• Excellent communication with engineers and a CFO.

Responsibilities

• Qualify opportunities with Sales and lead technical discovery and evaluations.
• Design cluster/workload architectures mapping to business outcomes.
• Own POCs end-to-end including scope, benchmarks, milestones, and timeline.
• Take customers from signature to first production training run.
• Serve as the named technical owner for accounts after launch.
• Provide capacity planning, performance and cost optimization.
• Create assets for the SA team: demos, benchmarks, reference architectures, playbooks.
• Feed Product/Engineering with recurring gaps and customer requests.
