Job Title: Solutions Architect – Microsoft Modern Workplace

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

About the Role:

GDI Infotech is seeking a Solutions Architect for a leading, award-winning MSP and Microsoft Partner. This fully remote position focuses on Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions (Microsoft 365, Viva, SharePoint, EMS, Power Platform) and requires a consultative, sales-oriented mindset. You’ll work directly with clients to architect, implement, and support modern workplace solutions that drive digital transformation.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect and deploy Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions and M365 migrations
• Deliver client-facing technical consulting and solution design
• Support pre-sales efforts, including scoping and technical presentations
• Act as a strategic advisor or vCIO for key clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery

What You Bring:

• 8+ years in IT consulting or solutions architecture, ideally within an MSP
• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 and Azure experience
• Expertise with Microsoft Modern Workplace tools: Viva, SharePoint, Teams, EMS, Power Platform
• Strong communication and client engagement skills
• Microsoft certifications (preferred or willing to obtain)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Exchange, Intune, Active Directory, and migration tools (BitTitan, Sharegate, etc.)
• Familiarity with scripting, automation, and hybrid environments

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture initiatives from inception to completion
• Collaborate with business users to create architecture in alignment with business need
• Act as a technical subject matter expert for business users
• Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency
• Produce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
• 5+ years' of relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge of leading architecture solutions in the industry area
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
