Job summary

IBM Corporation in Armonk, NY is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to manage the full sales cycle from qualification through closure, including defining PoC/POV scenarios and leading demos at client sites across the US. Responsibilities

• Manage opportunities through qualification, definition, proof/evaluation, proposal, and closure stages of the sales cycle.
• Respond to functional and business requirements in RFIs/RFPs.
• Engage with sales reps and prospects to align business needs with go-to-market capabilities.
• Analyze business requirements and present optimal internal solutions.
• Define PoC/POV and mapping to customer needs.
• Lead implementation of PoC/POVs and custom demos.
• Ensure demonstrations fulfill requirements and highlight capabilities.
• Define target architecture and collaborate on proposals.
• Utilize webMethods, cloud platforms, containerization, programming, and AI/ML in engagements.

Introduction

Your role and responsibilities

Senior Solutions Architect, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):

• Manage opportunities through the qualification, definition, proof/evaluation, proposal, and closure stages of the sales cycle with attention to timelines.
• Respond to the functional and business requirements and capabilities sections of RFI/RFPs.
• Engage with the sales representative and prospect to ensure a prospect’s business needs can be addressed with the company’s go-to market capabilities.
• Analyze the prospect’s business requirements and compose, validate, and present the best possible internal solution.
• Define Proof of Concept, Proof of Value (POC/POV) and custom demonstration scenarios and map functions of internal products to prospects’ needs.
• Lead team on implementation of POC/POV’s and custom demos.
• Ensure the demonstration fulfills the prospect’s requirements and highlights and differentiates the company’s capabilities.
• Define the prospect’s target architecture that fulfills their business objectives.
• Work with the Account Executive to structure the proposal that meets the prospect’s target architecture.
• Utilize: webMethods Integration platform, Enterprise Integration Architecture & Design, webMethods Hybrid iPaaS, Cloud Platforms & Containerization, Programming & AI/ML, Project & Sales Methodologies.

One (1) year of experience must include utilizing webMethods Integration platform, Enterprise Integration Architecture & Design, webMethods Hybrid iPaaS, Cloud Platforms & Containerization, Programming & AI/ML, Project & Sales Methodologies. $180,812 to $247,200 per year. Full time. H275.
