Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Solution Architect in New York to lead architecture strategy, modernization, and cloud adoption for a major utility client. You will shape target-state blueprints, govern technical standards, and collaborate with data, application, and infrastructure teams.

The role requires 10+ years in architecture, utility sector experience, and strong skills in .NET/C#, REST/SOAP, Angular, SQL Server, and Databricks. Travel to NYC approximately every other week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years in Solution Architecture or related leadership roles.
• 5+ years leading large-scale modernization initiatives.
• Demonstrated utility industry experience in energy sectors.
• Strong experience with REST and SOAP and cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture, strategy, and modernization planning.
• Assess current-state apps, integrations, data, and infra.
• Develop target-state architectures and roadmaps.
• Define patterns for applications, data, and cloud.
• Lead architecture workshops and design reviews.
• Present findings to executives and stakeholders.
