Job summary

IBM Global Sales is seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer fluent in Portuguese to partner with Account Executives and customers. You will surface business needs, design technical solutions, and help customers adopt data streaming patterns with confidence while removing roadblocks.

You will work with product and engineering teams, deliver technical talks, and guide customers through deployment best practices, aiming to elevate operational maturity and value realization across Confluent deployments

Qualifications

• Portuguese language proficiency required.
• Extensive Solutions Engineering experience or similar role.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and data/DB technologies.
• Exposure to cloud architecture, migrations, deployment and app development.
• Experience with automation, GitOps and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Java, Python or SQL.
• Cloud certifications preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with LATAM countries.

Responsibilities

• Advance new data streaming use-cases from conception to Go-Live.
• Lead technical proofs of concept and customer demonstrations.
• Conduct discovery and whiteboard sessions to develop new use-cases.
• Deliver technical talks and workshops to customers.
• Guide customers with hands-on support and best practices for deployment.
• Analyze customer usage trends and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering, advocating for customer needs.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and partners.
