Job summary

Magnitude Software is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to support the Tax business unit. The role bridges sales and post-sales, leading pre-sales demonstrations, POC delivery, and partner enablement for tax software solutions.

It is fully remote with up to 10% travel and reports to the Director of Solution Engineering. The position requires tax experience in industry or public accounting, strong presentation skills, and expertise with tax platforms, BEPS, and transfer pricing.

Qualifications

• Experience in tax roles within industry or public accounting, ideally with client-facing consulting work.
• Track record presenting to mixed audiences ranging from staff accountants to VP of Tax or Finance.
• Proficiency with tax platforms and understanding of tax provision, transfer pricing, and BEPS reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to client challenges.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Tax (Computer Science or a technical background preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

• Partner with sales to identify client needs and tailor presentations that map software capabilities to business challenges
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Design tailored solutions and own the technical delivery of configured POCs that translate requirements into proven outcomes
• Contribute to detailed proposals and RFP responses with technical accuracy and alignment to prospect needs
• Gather prospect feedback to inform product development and solution enhancements
• Serve as a tax subject matter expert in webinars and recorded video content used by marketing and sales

• UK salary range of £97,000 to £122,000 annually, with potential additional bonus eligibility for non‑sales roles
