RES Consultant Group is seeking a Remote Tax Manager at a modern accounting firm designed to deliver advisory and tax services with concierge-level service. The role is fully paperless, using best-of-breed technology with no time tracking.

The Remote Tax Manager will lead tax engagements, build strong client relationships, and work with growing businesses, entrepreneurs, and family offices, ensuring clients are positioned for financial success through proactive tax planning and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Tax.
• CPA or CPA candidate (REQUIRED).
• 6+ years working in public accounting (REQUIRED).
• Experience in a client-facing role, communicating with business leaders via email, phone, and video calls.
• Tech-forward; ability to learn new software and comfortable using technology in general.
• Ability to coach and train associates.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting services to a growing client base.
• Managing the preparation and delivery of quarterly tax projections and ad hoc client requests.
• Facilitating and managing the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns and the accurate, timely submission of all tax filings.
• Finding and implementing opportunities for process improvement in tax procedures.
• Delighting our customers with expert guidance and support.
• Available to work between the normal business day to be responsive to client requests.

Job Overview:
Remote Tax Manager will lead tax engagements and serve as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with clients. Work with a range of clients, including rapidly growing businesses, successful entrepreneurs, and family offices, communicating regularly to ensure they are taken care of and positioned for financial success.
Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting services to a growingclient base
• Managing the preparation and delivery of quarterly tax projections and ad hocclient requests
• Facilitating and managing the preparation and review of federal and state tax returnsand the accurate, timely submission of all tax filings
• Finding and implementing opportunities for process improvement in taxprocedures
• Delighting our customers with expert guidance and support
• Available to work between the normal business day (ex. 9am to 5pm) tobe responsive to client requests.
