Job Title: Senior Solution Data Warehouse Architect

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 24+ Months

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Data Warehouse Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions supporting large-scale financial systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data architecture, cloud technologies, and modern analytics platforms, along with the ability to lead technical teams and drive innovative solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Experience supporting public sector pension systems or large-scale financial environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions.
• Develop scalable and secure data architectures that support reporting, business intelligence, and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Design integration solutions across enterprise systems using APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define strategic data solutions.
• Support the integration of emerging technologies, including Generative AI capabilities, into analytics environments.
• Develop architecture standards, technical documentation, and best practices.
• Ensure solutions align with security, scalability, and performance requirements.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in enterprise data warehouse architecture and data modeling.
• 3+ years of experience designing architectures that incorporate Generative AI capabilities into Business Intelligence or Data Warehouse platforms.
• 5+ years of cloud architecture experience using Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams within complex enterprise environments.
• 5+ years of experience designing secure integration architectures using APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and data integration patterns.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in West Sacramento, CA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting public sector pension systems or large-scale financial environments.
• 5+ years of experience with C#, Python, and SQL development.
• Experience with Snowflake and/or AWS Redshift.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions.
• Strong technical documentation and architecture governance experience.
