Job summary

Treinetic is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to provide senior architectural leadership for enterprise data initiatives in finance, regulatory, and mission-critical environments. This role is part-time and requires availability for client meetings, discussions, demos, and workshops as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in enterprise data architecture or solution architecture.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and governance frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT, and analytics platforms.
• Ability to attend in-person and online client meetings when required.

Responsibilities

• Design and define enterprise-grade data architectures across ingestion, storage, transformation, and governance.
• Create cloud, on-premises, and hybrid data platforms including Data Warehouse/Lake/Lakehouse.
• Define data integration approaches using ETL/ELT, APIs, batch, incremental, and real-time processing.
• Set standards for governance, metadata, data quality, lineage, and security.
• Prepare architecture diagrams, proposals, and tender responses; guide implementation teams.
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering, DevOps, security, analytics, and projects.
• Attend client meetings and workshops on behalf of the company as needed.
• Represent the company professionally and defend proposed architectures to clients.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to provide senior-level architectural leadership for enterprise data platform initiatives, particularly within financial, regulatory, public-sector, and mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in designing enterprise-scale data architectures, data integration platforms, governance frameworks, analytics environments, and hybrid cloud solutions. This is a part-time senior consulting role. The selected candidate must be available to attend client meetings, technical discussions, presentations, demonstrations, clarification meetings, and other engagements on behalf of the company when required.

• Design and define enterprise-grade data architectures covering data ingestion, storage, transformation, integration, analytics, reporting, governance, and AI/ML requirements.
• Design cloud, on-premises, and hybrid data platforms, including Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Data Lakehouse architectures.
• Define data integration approaches using ETL/ELT, APIs, batch, incremental, and real-time processing.
• Establish architecture standards for data governance, metadata management, data quality, lineage, security, access control, and lifecycle management.
• Prepare and review solution architecture diagrams, technical proposals, technology stacks, tender/RFP/EOI responses, and implementation approaches.
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering, DevOps, security, analytics, and project teams throughout implementation.
• Attend client meetings, technical discussions, presentations, demonstrations, clarification sessions, and workshops on behalf of the company when required.
• Represent the company professionally and explain, justify, and defend proposed technical architectures to clients and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, including strong experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Architecture, or Solution Architecture.
• Proven experience designing or implementing at least one enterprise-scale data platform or enterprise data solution.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes/Lakehouses, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, integration, data modelling, and analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, data quality, security, RBAC, encryption, and audit requirements.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to independently represent the company during client and technical meetings.
• Mandatory availability to attend in-person and online meetings when required, despite the role being part-time.
• Must be willing to provide a professional CV and project experience for inclusion in tenders, EOIs, RFPs, and client proposals.
• Experience in banking, financial services, regulatory, government, or other mission-critical environments will be a strong advantage.
