Job Description

The Senior Solution Architect - ServiceNow is responsible for providing mentorship and thought leadership to both our client and internal resources in platform design, integration design, development standards, platform management methods, and technology strategy consulting. A Senior Solution Architect has a high-level understanding of scripting and app development, including familiarity with web services, APIs, and mobile application design.

• Lead and mentor other developers (business, information, application, software, technology) to ensure the highest standard of technical quality. Fulfill technical designing, crafting, documenting, and presenting the integration approach of all architecture components. Research and analyze capabilities and propose solution alternatives that address specific business needs and product/service strategies across business lines.
• Educate clients and collaborate on technical solutions. Deliver a positive and helpful experience to clients in every interaction. Assist in prioritizing and understanding new opportunities, and craft tools and techniques to deliver efficiently. Ensure each artifact produced, each configured technical component, and all personal interactions are of the highest quality. Act as the final decision-maker for technical decisions within a program.

Team Building

• Build teams capable of completing tasks. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other developers/architects. Define evaluation processes for hiring that fit market needs. Conduct interviews to screen and identify the best candidates.
• Periodically evaluate team capabilities. Identify emerging skills needed and training requirements. Align resource needs based on demand projections. Record training and development plans in partnership with HR.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field with significant IT and leadership experience.
• At least 4 years of experience working on the ServiceNow platform.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM). Proven experience in two additional product lines outside of ITSM, such as Orchestration, Discovery, Project Portfolio, SecOps, Agent Intelligence, or other predictive models.
• Knowledge of ITIL v3 is required, with 5 years of experience in consulting, service management, and software development. 4+ years of multi-platform configuration experience. 2+ years in senior technical roles.
• Preferred experience: ITSM, ITIL v3. Certifications: Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary ranges from $130,000 to $160,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, paid holidays and time off, 401(k) with contributions, disability insurance, parental leave, employee stock purchase plan, and eligibility for discretionary annual incentives based on performance.
