Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc. seeks an accomplished Solution Architect to lead the design of scalable, secure technology solutions.

The role blends remote flexibility with in-person collaboration and requires translating complex business needs into practical architectures across engineering, security, data, and business teams. The position is a 12-month renewable contract with opportunities based on performance and project needs, offering a hybrid work arrangement and a competitive compensation

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution architecture or related field.
• Experience designing and implementing complex technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, databases, networking and modern software architectures.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong cybersecurity, identity and data protection understanding and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business objectives, standards, security, and scalability.
• Translate business requirements into clear architectures and designs.
• Evaluate applications, platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, databases, and services.
• Develop architecture diagrams, specifications, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Partner with software engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, and project teams through the lifecycle.
