Amazon is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead enterprise launches, designing, implementing, and optimizing integrations with Amazon Shipping for high-volume shippers. You will partner with commercial, product, and tech teams to win deals and ensure flawless execution.

The role blends pre-sales enablement with hands-on delivery: analyze WMS/TMS, APIs, and EDI, develop reusable patterns, mentor peers, and guide architecture reviews to scale our shipping network across Fortune 500 customers.

Qualifications

8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end technical delivery for enterprise launches: discovery, integration design, implementation, testing, and go-live.
Run discovery on customer objectives and systems, and design integrations that work right the first time.
Create launch plans covering architecture, testing, risk mitigation, and success criteria.
Partner with commercial teams on enterprise deals, providing technical validation and solution design.
Present integration strategies to customer IT leadership and run feasibility assessments.
Dive deep into WMS, TMS, API, and EDI flows; troubleshoot using logs, monitoring, and AI-assisted analysis.
Lead implementation with customer engineering teams, ensuring correct API usage, error handling, and operational excellence.
Architect solutions that are extensible, secure, reliable, cost-optimized, and performant.
Build reusable patterns and reference architectures; lead architecture reviews balancing speed and scalability.
Serve as trusted technical advisor to senior leaders; translate customer needs into specifications; drive new API feature adoption.
Your days balance pre-sales, technical execution, and customer advisory. Mornings involve reviewing integration metrics, joining sales calls, and presenting capabilities for complex multi-warehouse environments. Afternoons focus on strategic work—creating reusable integration patterns, preparing QBRs, and mentoring teammates.
