Senior Solution Architect, BizApps Focused, Delivery GTM

The Senior Solution Architect at Hitachi Solutions leads envisioning innovative, automated solutions within the Microsoft cloud environment. This role is part of the Delivery Go To Market team, partnering with sales to drive solution sales from inception to close, ensuring solutions meet customer needs. The architect collaborates with Delivery Domains from project initiation through blueprint, maintaining the vision established in presales throughout delivery.

This role involves working closely with clients to scope engagements, analyze requirements, and define solution architectures alongside sales and implementation teams. The Senior Solution Architect must communicate effectively with IT leadership and C-suite executives, translating business needs into technical architectures, standards, and governance. This is a hands-on leadership position in a dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Microsoft and partner organizations to stay at the forefront of technology innovation.
  • Develop and define business application solutions and reference architectures with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams.
  • Understand customer requirements and translate them into Dynamics 365 cloud solutions leveraging Hitachi capabilities.
  • Contribute to sales deals by delivering end-to-end business solutions from a delivery perspective.
  • Create and present solution blueprint documents during sales processes.
  • Define scope of work with internal and external teams for proposed solutions.
  • Lead meetings with customers and prospects, gathering information and providing expertise.
  • Assist in preparing sales documents such as Estimates, SOWs, RFPs, and proposals.
  • Refine communication, workshop, and delivery templates and processes for the Solution Architecture team.
  • Onboard Delivery Domains to the conceptual solutions defined during sales.
  • Support customer satisfaction through effective communication and support during delivery.
  • Facilitate project architecture reviews to ensure alignment of solutions.
  • Review project outcomes for lessons learned and pattern refinement.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and standardization to accelerate discovery and communication.
  • Promote internal engagement across practice areas, IP, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Travel up to 50% annually to support sales pursuits.
  • Report to the Senior Director of Solution Architecture.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Dynamics 365 solutions, including design, architecture, configuration, customization, and deployment across various modules.
  • 8+ years of delivering complex enterprise solutions with Microsoft Dynamics or similar technologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and matrixed organizations.
  • 4+ years of leading pre-sales activities, including deal estimation and resource planning.
  • Experience with Power Platform, Power Apps, Data/AI, Customer Insights, Power BI is preferred.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and support dispersed teams.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated learner with attention to detail.
  • Experience with contract development and relevant Microsoft certifications are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $173,000 to $260,000 USD. This range is a guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Factors influencing compensation include responsibilities, experience, skills, and market data.

Note: This role is remote, but candidates must be US citizens or authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Additional benefits may include bonuses, health coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and flexible remote work arrangements.
