BeiGene is seeking a solution-oriented professional for the role of Senior Manager, Workday Solutions Architect who will strategically assess, design and deliver Workday and other technical solutions that drive and sustain operational excellence and efficiency. This individual will act as a technical expert and will work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and external partners, to ensure that integrations are aligned with business needs and compliant with best practices.
This position is located in the US.
Essential Functions Of The Job
- Serve as the SME for Workday integration capabilities leading the design, development, testing and deployment of Workday integrations using tools like Workday Studio, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, PICOF, PECI, XSLT and other Workday integration technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and assess functional and technical integration requirements, ensuring solutions are developed to align with industry best practices and meet the organization’s security standards.
- Partner with IT on enterprise initiatives and collaborate in the development of a long-term integration strategy that ensures a scalable, secure, and maintainable infrastructure.
- Manage request prioritization by working closely with IT resources to manage timelines and deliverables in alignment with key business objectives.
- Create detailed technical documentation including design specifications, test scripts and integration maps for Workday interfaces.
- Monitor and maintain performance of existing integrations, making updates and improvements as necessary.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and automate processes, while staying current with the latest Workday functionality and industry trends.
- Actively engage in technical discussions and integration-related activities, including but not limited to audits, release management, troubleshooting and ad-hoc projects.
Skills And Experience
- Expert knowledge of Workday with at least 7+ years of hands-on development and system administration experience.
- Extensive experience implementing and managing third-party payroll integrations with providers such as ADP or Safeguard.
- Experience implementing and managing Workday HCM, with a strong familiarity of the Workday business process framework and Workday security.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including; identifying business requirements, crafting creative technical solutions, integrating and implementing solutions, and providing system maintenance and support.
- Hands-on experience creating custom reports.
- Must be analytical, proactive, and passionate about leveraging technology to build efficiencies.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and how decisions impact downstream systems, processes and the end user experience.
- Strong working knowledge of HR systems and MS Office.
- Intermediate / Advanced experience using MS Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment coming up with innovative solutions under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills, with the ability to present to a wide variety of audiences.
- Experience in a global pharma organization is a plus.
- BIRT experience is a plus.

- Bachelor’s Degree and/or related experience

Salary Range: $129,900.00 - $174,900.00 annually
BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
