The Senior Solution Architect leads in envisioning innovative, automated solutions within the Microsoft cloud environment. This role is part of the Delivery Go To Market team, partnering with sales to drive solution sales from inception to close, ensuring solutions meet customer needs. The architect collaborates with Delivery Domains from project initiation through blueprint to carry the presales vision into delivery.

The role involves working with clients to scope engagements, analyze requirements, and define solution architectures, translating business needs into technical solutions and governance standards. It requires effective communication with IT leadership and C-suite executives, and hands-on leadership in a dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Microsoft and partner organizations to stay at the forefront of technology innovation.
• Develop and define business application solutions and reference architectures with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams.
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into Dynamics 365 cloud solutions leveraging Hitachi Solutions’ capabilities.
• Contribute to sales deals by creating end-to-end business solutions and conceptual blueprints.
• Define the scope of work and collaborate across teams to ensure alignment.
• Lead meetings with customers, gather information, and support sales documentation.
• Refine communication, workshop, and delivery templates and processes.
• Onboard Delivery Domains to the conceptual architecture.
• Support customer satisfaction through effective communication and project support.
• Facilitate architecture reviews and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for automation and standardization to accelerate discovery and communication.
• Support internal engagement and collaboration across practice areas.
• Travel up to 50% annually for sales pursuits.
• Report to the Senior Director, Solution Architecture.

Qualifications

• Mastery of Dynamics 365 solutions, including design, configuration, customization, and deployment across various modules.
• 8+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise solutions with Microsoft Dynamics or similar technologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional and matrixed organizations.
• 4+ years in pre-sales activities, including deal estimation and resource planning.
• Experience with Power Platform, Power Apps, Data/AI, Customer Insights, Power BI is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts effectively.
• Ability to work independently and support dispersed teams.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and self-learning skills.
• Experience with contract development and Microsoft certifications are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $173,000 to $260,000 USD. Additional benefits include bonuses, health coverage, life insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and flexible remote work options.
