Job summary

Veracode is seeking Solutions Architects to advance customer relationships and drive adoption of Veracode solutions across enterprise accounts. You’ll work with the sales team to position Veracode for new business and align security offerings with client needs.

The ideal candidate combines technical depth with business acumen, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and can present to executives. Travel up to 25% to support customers is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in application development industry.
• Experience with Application Analysis and System Analysis.
• Hands-on experience with application security testing.
• SDLC – CI/CD integration, Application Servers, Database Architecture, Network Architecture.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% across the territory.

• Complete RFPs, security questionnaires, and 3rd party security attestations.
• Present Veracode’s vision, strategy and product roadmaps to executives and technical management.
• Provide customer-oriented feedback to internal product development groups to guide the future direction of the Veracode service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand the technologies, constraints and other issues of an application security program and its implementation.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• 5 + years experience in application development industry.
• Experience with “Application Analysis” and “System Analysis” is a plus.
• Application Penetration Assessment Experience is a plus (URL manipulation, SQL injection, cross-site scripting, back-end authentication, password in memory, session hijacking, buffer overflow, web server configuration, credential management, Clickjacking, etc.)
• Hands-on Experience withapplication security testing desired.
• SDLC – Integration (CI/CD system integration), Application Servers, Database Architecture, Network Architecture experience required.
• Shell scripting & Python, Java, JavaScript, .NET (C# and ASP.NET) knowledge desired.
• Hands-on problem solverwho is proactive and is able to wrestle a challenge into submission.
• Ability to collaborate with and motivate multiple groups toward accomplishing a task.
• Enthusiastic, self-starter with a charismatic personality.
• Strong customer facing and relationship building skills.
• Must be effective in working both independently and in team settings.
• Strong listening and consultative, question based selling skills.
• Ability to uncover business challenges and develop a custom solution to solve those challenges.
• Pre-sales experience working with large enterprises and ISV’s a plus.
• Must be willing to travel as needed (up to 25% ) throughout the territory as required
