Job summary

CoinList is seeking a senior smart contract engineer to build robust on-chain contracts that integrate with asset providers. You will design, implement, and audit Solidity systems on EVM chains, with emphasis on security, upgradeability, and performance.

You'll work in a distributed, remote-first team reporting to the CTO, shaping the onchain infrastructure that powers tokenized assets and compliant raises. Strong taste for quality, testing, and rapid iteration is essential.

Qualifications

• You bring 7+ years of professional experience and at least 2 years writing production Solidity.
• Deep knowledge of the inner EVM, storage layout, gas, ABI encoding, events, and indexing.
• Experience with modern Solidity patterns: proxies, upgradeability, access control, EIP-712, reentrancy defenses.
• Real tooling discipline with Foundry or Hardhat and robust testing workflows.
• Ability to think like an attacker and document risks before shipping.

Responsibilities

• Ship contracts to mainnet with a focus on Solidity on EVM chains and security.
• Design contract systems including boundaries, interfaces, storage, upgrade strategy, access control, and fail paths.
• Be an owner in a small team, delivering meaningful onchain work for token sales or new products.
• Treat security as core: adversarial review, audit findings, fuzzing, invariants, testnets, and incident response.
• Grow rapidly, collaborate with smart engineers, and extend skills to Rust/Solana as needed.
