Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Solid-State Sensor Engineer to advance inertial instruments for guidance applications. Responsibilities

  • Drive design and development of precision instruments.
  • Mentor Hardware Instrument engineers.
  • Design experiments to prove design concepts viable and optimal.
  • Collaborate to design and develop prototype and production hardware.
  • Integrate precision instruments into larger systems to meet performance metrics.
  • Develop initial fabrication processes for custom instruments.
  • Draft and present technical documents and testing results to management.
  • Provide training related to devices to employees and subcontractors.
  • Perform independent research as needed to solve problems.
