Job summary

Jabil in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Solderer to perform high-quality soldering on complex builds and products. You will handle surface mount, thru-hole, jumper wires, micro-soldering and hand-soldering according to work orders and specifications.

Under supervision, you will support manufacturing operations, maintain logs, and participate in training programs including IPC-610 and IPC-620. Candidates with 2+ years of soldering experience are welcome; training will be provided to expand

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electronic soldering experience.
• Strong ability to read work orders, specifications and diagrams.
• Good communication and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering including surface mount, thru-hole, jumper wire, micro-soldering and hand-soldering.
• Follow established specifications and instructions for assembly operations.
• Perform first article checks to verify BOM accuracy and placement polarity.
• Repair defects in-line and enter defect data into CIQ system.
• Maintain daily logs and production tickets accurately.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure quality and timeliness.
