Qualifications

• 5+ years experience soldering in manufacturing.
• Must use rework equipment and SMT components.
• IPC-610 Certification required (expired or active).
• IPC J-STD-001 Certification required (expired or active).

Responsibilities

• Uses microscope to verify part placement and alignment before soldering.
• Identify and touch up poor joints, voids, shorts, misaligned parts, or tombstoned components.
• Familiar with AOI to identify defects and distinguish false calls from real issues.
• Must be able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with possible overtime.
• Sit for long periods and focus on tedious tasks.
