Job summary

The role requires hands-on experience with utility-scale solar PV and BESS, PVsyst modeling, and a background in renewable energy project development. Location is onsite in Houston; permanent/direct hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field related to energy.
• 5+ years in utility-scale solar development or related field.
• Strong PVsyst modeling and energy yield analysis experience.
• Experience with design tools: HelioScope, PVcase, AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project sites for technical feasibility and risks.
• Prepare preliminary system layouts and engineering assessments.
• Develop energy generation forecasts and analyze performance.
• Assess site conditions affecting energy output.
• Recommend design improvements for efficiency and economics.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and teams.
• Review engineering submissions and respond to technical questions.
• Research new technologies to improve project delivery.
