Vitaver & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Energy Storage Engineer to work onsite in Juno Beach, FL on a 12‑month contract with possible extensions.

The role focuses on designing major components for large-scale energy storage projects and coordinating with project managers to ensure timely delivery. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in PV/energy storage, knowledge of safety standards (UL/IEC), and willingness to travel about 25%.

Qualifications

• Availability to work 100% onsite at the Client's site in Juno Beach, FL.
• 3+ years of experience in Solar/PV engineering and/or construction.
• Experience in power electronics, battery storage system design, substation design, or generation tie design.
• Experience with energy storage technologies, including battery chemistries, power conversion units, and DC/DC converters.
• Familiarity with lithium‑ion battery storage safety standards (UL1973, UL9540, NFPA 855, NFPA 70E, NEC).
• Experience with IEC 61215, 61646, and 61730 standards.

Responsibilities

• Support design phase and engineer major components for large-scale energy storage projects.
• Identify inconsistencies in engineering drawings and studies, and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare technical scopes of work for contracts.
• Support projects from inception to completion with project managers.
• Manage milestones, monitor progress, and identify risks.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time for project duties.
