Job summary

Sol-Ark is seeking a C&I Application Engineer to join our R&D-aligned team in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will guide system design for commercial and industrial solar projects, support technical sales, and help shape product development for advanced energy storage solutions.

Ideal candidates have >5 years in solar energy, strong knowledge of power electronics, and familiarity with relevant standards (UL 1741, IEEE 1547, UL 9540).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with focus on power systems or power electronics.
• 5+ years in commercial/residential solar energy.
• 2+ years testing and product support in solar/energy storage.
• Familiarity with UL 1741, IEEE 1547, UL 9540/9540A and NEC.

Responsibilities

• Support technical sales with questions, site assessments, and system design.
• Assist EPC contractors in designing/commercial solar projects.
• Collaborate with product/R&D to improve solar products.
• Conduct tests on HV inverters and BESS; report results.
• Provide training to sales, support, customers, and partners.
