Job summary

Sol-Ark Inc. is seeking a seasoned Field Applications Engineer specializing in solar inverters and energy storage systems to provide technical support, integration assistance, and on-site commissioning.

You will train customers, develop demonstrations, and collaborate with sales to design solutions, while staying current with industry standards and delivering high-quality field service across U.S. deployments.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, to provide on-site support and assistance.
• Experience infield applications engineering, preferably in solar inverters and energy storage systems.
• NABCEP certification a plus
• In-depth knowledge of solar inverter technologies, energy storage systems, and their integration into renewable energy systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to solar energy and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in electrical system design, power electronics, and control systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues infield deployments.

• Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer feedback and field observations to drive product improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and proactively addressing their requirements.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support pre-sales activities, including technical presentations, solution design, and proposal development.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling based on customer requirements and project specifications.

Candidates must reside in [California]. This position will be remote working in close collaboration with our corporate headquarters in Allen, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth area).
