Job summary

CPL in Suwanee, GA is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design and deliver solar PV and electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and utility-scale projects.

You will develop Revit and AutoCAD models, perform system calculations, and coordinate across clients, utilities, contractors, and internal teams to support permitting, interconnection, and construction outcomes. A minimum of 6 years' experience and an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required (Bachelor's degree preferred) and minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering, building systems design, or solar PV design.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and electrical design principles, including power distribution and solar PV systems.
• Ability to lead technical coordination and deliver renewable energy projects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate solar PV and electrical systems from feasibility through construction documentation.
• Develop and manage Revit and AutoCAD models, electrical layouts, system calculations, and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Partner with clients, utilities, contractors, and internal teams to navigate permitting, interconnection requirements, and construction support.
