Job summary

Capitol Valley Electric, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead Renewable Energy projects from initiation through close-out at our Sacramento-based office.

The role requires coordinating budgets, schedules, safety plans, and subcontractor performance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery for 1MW–50MW solar installations. Strong leadership and communication are essential to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in engineering, construction management or related field from an accredited school or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Minimum of 8 years Project Management experience in renewable energy.
• Knowledge of electrical theory, NEC, and California codes.

Responsibilities

• Creates and manages project budget and cost reports.
• Procure subcontractors and manage scope of work.
• Coordinate with pre-construction team on budget reports and milestones.
• Ensure safety plans and OSHA requirements are followed.
• Oversee site mobilization, scheduling, inspections, and close-out activities.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and partners to meet schedules.
