Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Solar Project Manager to join our expanding solar market team.

You will lead multidisciplinary projects, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and act as the primary client contact to foster long-term relationships and repeat work. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering or related professional services, with strong leadership, communication, and PM capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or PM related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in a project coordinator, project manager, or similar role.
• PMP or related certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Experience preparing proposals, scopes of work and qualification packages.
• Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• Track record of successfully winning and delivering projects.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder relationships (internal and external).
• Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Develop and implement project plans and schedules, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
• Oversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Track project health and take corrective action when necessary.
• Manage uncertainty and change, such as scope creep and change orders.
• Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection.
