Job summary

Eden Capital Careers client, a Milford, CT-based electrical contractor, seeks an experienced Project Manager for its growing commercial solar division. You will oversee large-scale municipal and commercial solar projects from contract execution through final completion, managing schedule, budget, subcontractors, procurement, utility coordination, inspections and client communication.

Requirements include 4+ years in commercial electrical or renewable energy project management, NEC expertise, and

Qualifications

• 4+ years PM experience in commercial construction, electrical construction, or utility-scale solar.
• Strong understanding of NEC and electrical construction practices.
• Experience with projects exceeding 500 kW preferred.
• Experience with municipal contracts and public bid work preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong budgeting and cost control experience.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial and municipal solar projects across CT.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and establish execution plans.
• Develop and maintain project schedules (critical path, etc.).
• Manage procurement of major equipment (modules, inverters, switchgear, transformers).
• Coordinate with utilities for interconnection, witness testing, and approvals.
• Track project budgets and monitor costs to maintain margins.
• Review and manage subcontracts and vendor agreements.
• Submit and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contracts.
• Coordinate with engineering and field teams to ensure design intent is met.
• Oversee permitting and inspection processes.
• Manage project billing milestones and O&M transition.
• Maintain organized project documentation and reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks early in the lifecycle.
