Job summary

Geronimo Power is seeking a Solar Plant Manager to lead the Portage Solar facility near Plover, WI. You will oversee a team of Field Technicians, drive safe, reliable operations, manage budgets, and coordinate with cross-functional groups to meet performance targets.

Applicants should have a strong background in renewables or power generation, demonstrated leadership, and expertise in CMMS and electrical maintenance. This is a field-based leadership role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, with 5+ years in power/renewable operations.
• Experience leading a team and collaborating with diverse groups.
• Working knowledge of electrical facility operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations to maximize plant availability and reliability.
• Direct and supervise operations personnel, including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with EHS programs, audits, and incident assessments.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Manage maintenance activities, schedules, outages, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Maintain CMMS records and ensure documentation is complete and timely.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and procurement processes.
• Present performance metrics and recommendations to leadership.
• Oversee plant performance, root cause analyses, and improvement initiatives.
