Job summary

Silicon Ranch seeks an experienced Utility Scale Solar PV Operations and Maintenance Area Lead III for the Tullahoma, TN region. You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance across a defined set of solar facilities, ensuring reliability of PV systems, UPS, SCADA, substations, and MV/HV/OHE networks.

You will manage on-site teams, perform electrical testing, coordinate with management, and mentor staff to uphold safety and performance standards at a 100 MW+ scale facility.

Qualifications

• PV solar operations and maintenance experience.
• On-site management experience for NERC-regulated facilities ≥100 MW.
• 4+ years in electrical trade or equivalent.
• 1+ years in utility-scale solar PV operations and maintenance.
• Experience with MV/HV systems, IT, inverters, T&D, substations is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead scheduled preventive maintenance tasks at each facility, including the full PV system, UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Perform and lead corrective maintenance tasks, both scheduled and unscheduled, at each facility, including the full PV system, UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Respond to directives for emergency dispatches for critical systems as directed.
• Log all work performed via the Silicon Ranch CMMS platform.
• Perform electrical testing using IV Curve Tracers, Power Quality Meters, Insulation Resistance Testers, Multimeters, and other testing equipment as needed.
• Assist management with field investigations to support predictive analytics, root cause analysis, and serial defect reports.
• Assist in creating and reviewing preventative and corrective maintenance SOP's, schedules, and checklists.
• Provide site access to third party contractors and as directed.
• Attend internal and external training sessions as directed.
• Perform other tasks as directed.
• Provide daily leadership, mentoring, and training to direct reports in the defined area of operations.
• Schedule preventative and corrective maintenance work in the defined area of operations.
• Participate in regular update meetings with management, providing information and recommended actions for facilities inside the defined area of operations.
