Job summary

First Solar is seeking an Analyst II in Manufacturing Finance to provide financial analysis and process support for at least one site, collaborating across functions to drive operational objectives and improve cost efficiency.

The role involves short-term planning, ad-hoc analyses, forecasting, budgeting, KPI reporting, and partnering with business units to ensure accurate monthly closes in a global, fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• 2–6 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with manufacturing and/or public accounting.
• Industry experience in renewable energy or technology preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tasks in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to recommend process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the financial performance analysis for at least one manufacturing site.
• Report operational metrics for product costing and inventory management and support cost-reduction initiatives locally.
• Support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT and functional leaders to implement business processes, systems, reporting, and enhancements.
• Work with external auditors as needed.
