Job summary

Corning is seeking an Operations Finance leader to serve as the finance partner for VP, Manufacturing, guiding cost performance and operating efficiencies across the Solar Wafer segment (3 large sites, 4k employees). This role champions business partnership and the successful implementation of finance programs aligned with the business strategy.

You will collaborate with operations, IT, and finance to optimize cost understanding, forecast accuracy, and performance metrics, driving cost

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of financial leadership experience.
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or MBA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; business case narrative.
• Proven track record in finance operations, planning and forecasting.
• Experience advising senior management on ambiguous requests.
• Self-starter in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive business performance and identify key drivers.
• Partner with manufacturing and finance leadership to meet financial commitments.
• Implement transparent cost metrics and analyses.
• Articulate problems and apply AAA methodology.
• Define target cost performance for businesses.
• Ensure tight finance-ops linkage and forecast processes with FP&A.
• Drive SAP cost understanding improvements.
• Lead digital initiatives with business and IT.
• Engage teams as a trusted partner through hands-on involvement.
