Job summary

Ion Solar is seeking a Special Services Coordinator to manage third-party work for solar installations, including re-roofs, trenching, and electrical upgrades. You will coordinate with utilities, AHJs, roofers, electricians, and contractors, ensuring projects stay on time and budget while complying with codes and requirements.

You will act as the primary link between customers, sales, contractors, and internal teams, providing proactive updates and resolving issues to support smooth project

Qualifications

• Prefer project coordination experience in solar, construction, electrical, or roofing.
• Familiar with utility requirements, permitting, and AHJ coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to coordinate across teams.
• Detail-oriented with focus on compliance, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from assignment to completion, including electrical upgrades and specialty contractor work.
• Coordinate with utilities, AHJs, roofers, electricians, and contractors to schedule tasks.
• Align timelines with internal teams to minimize delays and resolve conflicts.
• Provide proactive status updates to customers and sales teams.
• Ensure inspections are scheduled, passed, and documented for all scopes.
• Submit contractor payment requests after project closeout.
• Troubleshoot issues, ensuring codes, permits, and safety standards are met.
