Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Solar Field Service Technician Level 2 for Cantil, CA. This full-time role focuses on field maintenance, troubleshooting PV systems, and safe operation on job sites. You will work with Level I technicians, supervise safety practices, and document work using our systems.

Responsibilities include testing electrical systems, diagnosing issues via monitoring platforms, and providing on-call support. Excellent English communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification is required.
• Lock Out/Tag Out experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to operate system monitoring applications and basic testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform field maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repair of solar equipment and systems with minimal supervision.
• Safely work on electrical and mechanical systems and identify issues using monitoring platforms (Locus, QOS, Vitals, RTDB).
• Prepare accurate work orders, track time/materials in the Sprocket system and complete PM inspections.
• Provide on-call support at solar facilities and coordinate with team members.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and participate in ongoing training and mentoring of Level I technicians.
