Job summary

Good Faith Energy & Roofing seeks a licensed expert to design, review, and stamp in-house blueprint plans for Solar PV, energy storage, EV charging and load management systems. The role oversees the implementation and design of blueprints for all company solar projects and drives ongoing development of the Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Texas licensed PE with 7+ years electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and similar office software.
• Proficiency in CAD; certification preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with mentoring and developing team members.
• Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and internal apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering department, including workload planning, staffing, training, quality control, accountability, and performance management.
• Establish engineering standards, workflows, SLAs, and KPIs to reduce delivery timelines while improving accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee electrical engineering, design, and code compliance of residential and commercial solar PV, energy storage, EV charging, and load-management projects.
• Review and seal electrical drawings, calculations, and specifications per applicable laws and licensing requirements.
