Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Energy Solutions division in Fairfax. You will contribute to designing, bidding, managing, and commissioning solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging systems for diverse clients.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years of PV/Battery installations, NEC knowledge, and proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD. This role emphasizes collaboration, technical depth, and delivering sustainable energy projects on time.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of PV and battery installations experience.
• Understanding of AC/DC wiring, interconnection documents and NEC 690.
• Experience with PV production modeling tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, bid, project manage, and commission PV, battery, and EV charging systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop single line diagrams and specs.
• Review drawings, permits, and schedules to meet client deadlines.
