Job summary

Cal Solar, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to oversee field operations across multiple projects, guiding teams and coordinating with the PM, Foreman, and safety staff to ensure safe, cost-effective completion.

The role demands proactive leadership, clear communication, and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced solar construction environment. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in commercial/industrial solar construction, with NEC/NFPA knowledge, OSHA-30, and a track record of delivering quality

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in commercial/industrial solar construction.
• Experience with construction management and self-performing/sub-subcontracting.
• Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E electrical safety guidelines, and plumbing code.
• OSHA-30 certification & JW Electrical Licensed, preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety culture and safe work environment on projects.
• Coordinate with project team to manage schedule, cost, quality, safety.
• Lead weekly FLT review meetings and monitor manpower and production rates.
• Coordinate with client, GC and subcontractors to resolve field issues and ensure timely completion.
• Develop execution plans and provide accurate field information to PM and Engineering.
