Qualifications

• Possess high school diploma or GED.
• Technical degree or Solar certification preferred.
• Two or more years of experience as Energy Storage O&M technician.
• Five or more years’ experience in power generation.
• OSHA 10 and NFPA 70e Certifications.
• Knowledge of NFPA 855.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assigned O&M activities associated with the solar PV sites and substations in Southern California.
• Performs/assists with corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance for inverters, trackers, and PV equipment.
• Performs routine electrical repair, instrumentation, calibration, and basic inverter troubleshooting.
• Prepares and implements switching and clearance orders.
• Operates electrical and mechanical power plant systems and participates in required training.
