Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Project Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team across Solar + BESS projects. You will manage engineering design, material, equipment, and construction specification development for diverse projects, ensuring budget, schedule, and quality targets are met.

The role includes client interaction, proposal support, and oversight of EPC-type activities. The position requires a strong engineering background with 8+ years of experience, P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 8 years related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead large multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverables.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines.
• Manage data and perform complex engineering calculations.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projects.
• Support business development and client interactions on proposals and pursuits.
