Job summary

Lightsource bp, a leader in onshore renewables, seeks an Asset Manager to maximize financial and operational performance of a solar asset portfolio. You will coordinate with internal teams, investors, and contractors to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with contracts and regulations.

This hybrid role—based in Austin, Denver, or San Francisco—will own P&L, manage tax equity relationships, drive cost reductions, and lead commercial negotiations while maintaining rigorous governance and

Qualifications

• Understanding of utility-scale solar PV systems, including design, operations, maintenance, and performance analytics.
• Proficient in financial management of energy assets, including budgeting, P&L analysis, cash flow forecasting, and tax equity and debt compliance.
• Familiarity with key project agreements such as PPAs, O&M and EPC contracts, interconnection agreements, and financing documents

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily asset operations across a portfolio of utility-scale solar assets in alignment with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with O&M providers, engineering, and finance to monitor performance and drive value realization.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contracts, renewals, and vendor management to optimize costs and performance.
• Own P&L, liquidity forecasting, audits, and investor reporting to ensure financial targets are met.
