Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Software Tester to support a large-scale big data analytics platform for U.S. Government intelligence analysts. You will design and execute test plans for web, data-centric apps, and APIs, ensuring performance, reliability, and security in distributed environments.

The role requires strong Agile/DevOps familiarity, experience with automated testing tools (Playwright/Selenium/Cypress) and defect-tracking systems, plus a TS/SCI clearance and SCIF access several days weekly.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance; CI Poly required.
• 14+ years total tech experience; 5+ years in software testing/QA.
• Experience testing web apps, APIs and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Python, JS).
• Understanding of defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail).
• BS in a related technical field (Systems Eng, GIS, CIS, ECE, SE).
• SCIF presence a minimum of 3 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans and cases.
• Validate functionality, performance, scalability and reliability of web/data apps.
• Perform integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using issue tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and sysadmins to resolve issues.
• Support CI/CD testing activities and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Verify data integrity across large-scale analytics and ingestion pipelines.
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and continuous quality improvement.
• Rigorously document detailed test processes.
