Medtronic in Minnesota is seeking a Software Development Engineer II in Test to help ensure quality for medical device software. You will design, develop, and execute automated and manual test solutions across the software lifecycle.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, designs, and code, and to drive improvements in testing processes, quality, and compliance. This role emphasizes rigorous testing in a regulated environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of software development or software test engineering, or Master's degree.
• 2+ years of Java development and testing experience.
• Preferred: JUnit, Appium, automated tests, CI/CD, Agile, and regulated software development.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for software verification activities.
• Author, review, and execute automated and manual test protocols.
• Analyze test execution results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Review software requirements for completeness, testability, and traceability.
• Participate in software architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Investigate defects and support issue resolution.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and quality teams.
• Identify and implement test automation improvements.
