Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Software Test Engineer to lead automated test systems for RF, DC, and functional testing in production. You will develop test frameworks for production apps, REST APIs, and databases, ensuring secure data handling and KPI-driven analytics with Power BI.

You will own code merges, drive test optimization, and collaborate across RF, instrumentation, and manufacturing to align test capabilities with operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years in software development or test automation engineering.
• Expert in C# WinForms for shop-floor or production apps.
• Expert in service/API-based test systems using FastAPI or similar.
• Clear separation of UI, API, and DB layers in test systems.
• Traceable, audit-defensible data practices in test environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead automated test system architecture for RF, DC, and functional testing in production.
• Develop and maintain test frameworks for production apps, REST APIs, and DBs.
• Ensure UI/API/DB layer separation within test frameworks.
• Define KPIs for test systems and provide real-time analytics with Power BI.
• Drive test optimization, including DFT reviews and root cause analysis.
• Maintain cybersecurity compliance across test software and data assets.
• Own final code merge and release readiness decisions.
• Collaborate with RF, instrumentation, and manufacturing teams.
• Implement traceable data practices to meet quality/compliance standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD and deployment automation.
