Job summary

Bird Technologies in Solon, OH seeks a Lead Test Systems Engineer to architect, implement, and continuously improve automated test systems for RF, DC, and functional testing. You will guide NPI and production, define test strategies, and ensure data integrity.

The role requires 5+ years in software or test-automation engineering, strong SQL Server skills, and experience with C# WinForms and Python API development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Software Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with software development or test-automation engineering.
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Expert-level experience developing and supporting test systems using C# (WinForms) and Python (FastAPI).
• Strong understanding of test system architecture and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of automated test systems for RF, DC, and functional testing.
• Lead quality engineering and test framework development for production applications, REST APIs, and relational databases.
• Lead integration of test frameworks based on structured architectural patterns.
• Define and track KPIs using tools such as Power BI for real-time test analytics and yield monitoring.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance across all software and data assets related to test systems.
