Job summary

General Motors seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer for Retail Data to lead validation of on-vehicle and bench data collection systems. You will shape automation, implement CI/CD pipelines, and drive data quality benchmarking across ADAS/AV programs.

You will collaborate with SW and platform teams, develop AI-assisted workflows for test authoring and reporting, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring robust bench and vehicle integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering/technical experience.
• Hands-on experience with on-vehicle or bench validation and interpreting logs/metrics.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Robot Framework, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Own RADC validation for key programs including test planning, execution and defect triage.
• Develop and extend RADC CI/CD and validation automation (Autobot, ATP/Jenkins).
• Lead CI/CD bench readiness for RADC benches and ensure automated flashing and health checks.
• Design and execute performance and quality benchmarks for VTM tasks and data integrity.
• Set up and maintain RADC benches and integrate new camera/consent features.
• Author and maintain technical docs and training content to scale validation across teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align validation priorities and drive risk closure.
