Conduent is seeking a Software Test Engineer to own end-to-end testing, coordinating with BAs and SMEs to validate requirements and ensure release readiness. The role covers manual and automation testing, defect lifecycle management, and creating detailed test plans and data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years in software testing.
• Apply strong experience in test case creation and review.
• Analyze business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Execute manual and automation testing aligned with structured test plans.
• Manage defect documentation and support full defect lifecycle resolution.
• Identify and escalate risks promptly.
• Communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Work independently while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Provide guidance to junior team members when needed.

Responsibilities

• Review test cases created by test analysts and provide updates.
• Analyze business requirements and coordinate with BAs and SMEs.
• Identify test conditions and create detailed test cases.
• Conduct peer reviews of test cases and test plans.
• Create and condition test data for execution.
• Execute manual and automation tests according to plans.
• Document test results and report defects accurately.
• Evaluate outcomes and validate system functionality.
• Retest and close defects as appropriate.
• Validate release notes prior to deployment.
• Submit daily status reports and testing updates.
• Identify, document, and report risks.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams.
• Manage day-to-day implementation of the GTS testing process.
• Complete assigned learning within defined timeframes.
• Comply with all company policies and standards.
