Job summary

Conduent is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to support QA, release testing, and data validation for complex healthcare technology solutions. You will analyze requirements, design test strategies, create test plans and cases, validate data with SQL, and manage defects.

The role requires SDLC and Agile testing experience, healthcare EDI/HIPAA familiarity, and proficiency with JIRA and Azure DevOps. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure production readiness and release quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
8+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, Test Analyst, or related software testing role.
8+ years of experience across SDLC implementations.
Experience creating test plans, estimates, schedules, strategies, cases, scripts, and data.
Strong experience writing complex SQL statements for data validation and backend testing.

Responsibilities

Analyze requirements, design test strategies, and create test plans and test data in an Agile environment.
Develop and maintain release test models, test data, test scripts, and test schedules.
Define entry/exit criteria and acceptance criteria for production readiness.
Design, develop, execute, and debug test cases and quality strategy documentation.
Perform functional, integration, regression, database, and batch job testing; validate data and reporting outcomes.
Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to resolve unclear requirements and ensure successful testing outcomes.
